Spring 2023:
The world of Vestigials is first created as part of a worldbuilding class taught by Matt Bell.
Spring 2024:
Vestigial’s first draft is completed as part of an honors thesis project advised by Jenny Irish and Matt Bell. That summer, I submitted the story for sensitivity reading on the subject of ASL.
Spring 2026:
Vestigials is now on its 3rd draft, incorporating feedback from both the sensitivity reader and initial beta readers.
